should I have someting in writing that states I need interlock from my parole officer

I have my liscense and it is valid but I was told I need interlock. I signed nothing and was given nothing in writing. MY PO told me I would go to jail if he caught me driving. I am not but I want to know why my liscence is still valid.

An interlock requires you to breathe into a tube.  So, I don't see why he would say you shouldn't drive unless you are a chronic alcoholic and he trying to save you from yourself.  Contact a private criminal defense attorney in Louisiana to review your file, parole conditions, and the interlock issue and see if you can drive.  Try www.attorneypages.com.
