Is my husbnd still responsible for our bills if he left me with no warning?

My husband recently left me without warning and doesn’t have any idea why. We have been married for a year and ever since I have been with him I was a stay-at-home mom to my son because that was what he prefered me to do. When he left he left me with nothing, no money just a bunch of bills that I can’t pay and am getting calls about every single day. I was wondering if he is still held accountable for his share of the bills. He seems to think he isn’t responsible even though they have his name on them too. Would be wise for me to try to get alimony until I am financially stable on my own.

I am so sorry for your situation.  Yes, he is still responsible for the bills.  Yes, you should apply immediately for exclusive use of the marital home,  temporary spousal support and for child support.  You need to speak with an attorney as soon as you can. Good luck.
