Unless the differing treatment was due to some form of legally actionable discrimination (i.e. was based on your race, religion, disability, gender, nationality, age, etc.), have no claim here. As a general rule, not all workers need be treated the same or even fairly. Accordingly, unless your boss's action violated the terms of a union agreement or employment contract it was, unfortunately, perfectly permissable under the law.
