If I signed a contract with a distribution company as a carrier, am I legally entitled to a copy of it?
I was rushed into signing this contract. I have asked numerous times for a copy of this contract. Does the company have to give me a copy of the contract? If so, how long do they have to give me a copy, and is this a breach of the contract on their part since I haven’t received a copy?

Oddly enough, there is no specific legal requirement that all parties to a contract get a copy, andit is not a breach of contract to not give you one. The law does not recognize being "rushed" into signing a contract as a defense to your obligations under it; rather, it is your responsibility to not sign unless and until you understand and agree to the terms, and if you sign a contract, the law presumes you read and understood it, and agreed to what you signed.
