i need help

I was laid off my job with no reason and I been at my job for 17yrs I ask the owner why I getting laid off and he said because work was slow but before getting laid off he didn’t warned me are nothing im the only person that got laid off I need help

Unless you have an employment contract or union agreement, you are an "at will" worker. This means that your company can set the conditions of your employment much as it sees fit (absent some form of legally actionable discrimination). This means that you can be terminated for any reason or no reason at all, with or without notice.
