If I just moved to another state and want to make a change of venue, how can I proceed?

I want to also reduce my child support order since my new job is paying less.

I think that I need to understand the situation.  You have a child support order in place in another state and you wish to modify the  order because of a reduction in your pay, correct? You need to file a Petition for Modification and that petition must be properly served on the other parent who has the children in order to allow them time to respond or oppose. You must first register the out of state order in your state in order for your state to be able to modify.  Courts look at the change in circumstances and weigh it accordingly.
