If I just found out that I have a misdemeanor 22 year old warrant in another state, how can I take care of this?

A couple weeks ago I had a background check done my second renewal of my concealed weapons permit and found out that there is a warrant out for me on misdemeanor theft charges.

At this point, you need to consult a criminal law attorney who practices in the jurisdiction that issued the warrant. They can use their local court contacts to your best advantage rgading hte warrant and the uderlying charge. Furhter, you will have to travel back and appear in court regarding this matter. The fact is that warrants do not expire, so the sooner you clear this up the better for you.
