my husband and i have been together for 6years and married for 3months…i have filed for divorce-due to infidelity on his behalf..ive since spoke to him and he says that he wants to, and will, contest the divorce and request time for counseling to reconcile our marriage..can he do this..and if so, how would he?

Anyone can contest a divorce.  The question is whether you live in an at fault state or no fault state for divorce.  I believe your state gave you the option to choose which one you want -- no fault or covenant marriage. 

Review your marriage documents.  If you still don't know, contact the bureau of marriage licensing to find out.
