I signed a contract to purchase a machine for my LLC for $10,000 in January of 2017. In March of 2018 the owner of the machine said it would be $7,000 instead and gave me a print out from their quickbooks showing that it would be $7,000 to pay it off but no contract was signed. Now in August 2018 they are saying its back to $10,000. Which would be correct?

A written contract can only be changed in writing. If there were only oral (oral, not "verbal," is the correct term for unwritten communications), they will not override or alter the existing written contract. Therefore, the written agreement of $10k is still in effect.
