I assume that you are not on pobation; if so you will need to get your PO's permission to travel out of the state. If you are not on probation, then you can travel out of the US, however you may or may not be granted admittance to your destination country. What you need to do is to check with the immigration office in the jurisdiction that you want to travel to. Most allow admission for those convicted of misdemeanors but for those convicted felonies some will not. As a general rule, if a US citizen does not need a visa to gain entry then they stand a good chance of admission (with I believe the exception of Great Britian). Again, you'll need to check.
