What does "at will" employment mean?
Question Details: I don't understand.
Employment "at will" means that a worker can be terminated for any reason or no reason at all, with or without notice (absent some form of legally actionable discrimination). That having been said, it also means that an employee can quit at any time for any reason, with or without notice. If an employment contract or union agreement has been entered into, then that will control the terms of employment.
