What is my course of action regarding a slip and fall?
Question Details: Several weeks ago, I slipped and fell by my job and had to go to the ER. I was told that I sprained my knee so I now have to get physical therapy because I'm in pain. I talked to the property manager. She told me that she would pass it on to her insurance company but I have yet to hear anything back.
If you were going to or from your job, you have a worker's compensation claim. Your employer's human resources department should have the applicable forms you will need to file your worker's compensation claim to receive medical treatment and compensation for your injury.
