My daughter booked a vacation through Groupon on line to go to Summit Resorts,she paid over $500 then had to cancel because of a hurricane. She was to arrive on Sept.7th but the Governor was asking people to leave so she canceled her trip but they won’t refund her any of her money,the Groupon is saying its the Resort the Resort is saying its Groupon any advice would be appreciated on what she do it beyond her control she booked it a month ago

It doesn't matter that it was beyond her control: there is no inherent or intrinsic right to get a refund when you can't use a service, go on a trip, etc. due to something not your fault. As long as it was not the resort's, etc. fault, they don't have to give you your money back (i.e. the person you paid money to can't cause you be unable to get your money's worth). This is why people often buy some form of trip insurance, to protect themselves from this situation.
