Is it mandatory to have paystub from employer to maintain H1 status?

Hi, I entered US on 6/3/16 and started working for my employer from 6/7/16. My
SSN card delayed so long and received it on 7/16/16. My employer have not
generated the paystub for the month of June as I have not had SSN by that time.
Is it compulsory to have paystub for all the moths we work in US? Will it cause
any problem in the future? My employer denies to provide me the pre-date paystub
for the month of June now in July. Please provide your advice. thanks in advance

No, it is not required to have all the paystubs.  Typically at the time of visa extension you need to provide the last 3-4 paycheck stubs to prove that you have been maintaining valid status since you can only extend status or change status if you have status.
