Yes, it is legal: there is no law barring the display of company logos, symbols, etc. What is barred are displays that could look like emergency services vehicles (e.g. flashing lights or sirens similar to what they use), but that's not what you are talking about. Make sure that whatever you apply is well attached: if it comes off and strikes a person or car, or causes an accident, you would be liable.
