What to do regarding having a B-2 travel visa and K-1 fiance visa?

Question Details: My fiance has a 5 year B-2 travel visa; we have applied for the K-1 visa and are waiting for the approval from USCIS. We are at the time for it to get approved and should be any day now. Well I just found out that you can't travel outside the U.S. once you receive your K-1 visa. If she comes in on the K-1 visa but tries to use the B-2 Visa for the honeymoon cruise, will she get denied? Can she come in on the B-2 visa and not try to come in on the K-1 visa? Should we hold off on going to the interview for the K-1 visa and go ahead with the cruise and have her return to her country to obtain it? Will it flag her down in the system?
