Do I need a witness on my contracts?

I am a salon owner in Montana and I am wondering if I have to have a witness for
my contracts to make them legal?

No witness is required for you to sign a contract. The parties to the contract sign and don't need to sign at the same time.
Review the contract before signing to be certain it accurately states the obligations of all parties.

No, contracts do not require witnesses to be legal and enforceable. There are very few documents which must be witnesses to be enforceable; the main ones are a will, a power of attorney, or a medical power of attorney (which may also be called a "living will"). Regular contracts do not require this.
