You are a very ambitious person and your drive and determination will likely take you far in life. I believe that New Mexico has a minimum age for babysitting as age 10 but honestly, many parents look for older kids. What you can do is be a Mother's Helper, around to play with kids in a home or out at the park while the mother is present to give her a break. You do not need a license. You could also walk dogs to make some money. If you excel in any subject the tutoring is always an option. Again, though, some parents look for older kids. I would ask your parents to help put out the word for you as a helper. Or some other adult who has children can maybe help. I would go and see if there is a local course in life saving you can take. Being certified is always something parents will see as a plus. Good luck.
