Can I sue someone for neglect to disclose the fact that they had an STD?

Question Details: Over the summer, my boyfriend of 3 years cheated on me and was tested but all came up negative for STD's. Last week, I was feeling discomfort and went to a gynecologist today and found out that I have herpes. My partner and I have not been with anyone else since. The woman that he cheated with never told him that she had herpes or any other STD. I'd like to sue her for negligence.
