Can I sue?

I’m curious to know if I can sue my current job for using me in a photo to advertise there business without my consent. I asked them why would they put a picture of me up without my consent and asked did I want to sign it now after the fact. I have a restraining order on someone and I’m nervous about my safety now because I didn’t want the public to know where I work.

If you are still employed, they can *require* you to consent to the use of your photograph. Employers may put terms and conditions on employment, and those terms and conditions can require that employees must let the use their photos in advertisements. Therefore, you would not be able to sue your current employer  for this.
