If my license was suspended, can I get a new one in another state?
Question Details: My license was suspended i4 years ago and would have expired 6 months ago. I want to apply for a license in my new home state. Will there be a hang up because of the previous license suspension or expiration?
What many people failto realize is that vast majority of states share information about license revocations and/or suspensions. This is part of an agreement between the states known as an "interstate compact". Accordingly, if you apply for a license in another state, the revocation/suspension in the first state will likely be found since the national database will share your driving information.
