When filling out an application for employment, is a DUI considered a felony, misdemeanor, traffic violation or all of the above?

A DUI is a misdemeanor in CT. However, depending on how many times you have been convicted of DUI, can make the misdemeanor a felony. When filling out a job application you need to know how many times that you have been convicted of DUI and what the degree of the charge is. Indeed, if you are hired by an employer and you misrepresent information on the job application, you can be fired. You do not want to lose your job over something like this. DUI is one of those crimes that can be overlooked on a job application as it does not make you a bad person and is one of the more forgiving crimes. However, make sure that you are sure about the amount of times you have been convicted.
