my aunt just died with no will and has one brother left who inherits her stuff

She left her nieces and nephews to handle her things with nothing in writing.
Her brother wants to sell her house and cars and we don’t want that

Under Mississippi Intestate law, when a person dies without a will the closest relative inherits his or her estate. In this case, if your aunt died without a surviving spouse of children and no parents, the siblings will inherit. Therefore, her brother, your uncle will inherit her property.
