Multiple rear end collisions
I seem to remember hearing or reading that in a multiple rear end collision, each car is responsible for the damage to the car in front of them, even though they were rear-ended, in succession, by the real perpetrator of the accident. Is this true?
No. The car that starts the multiple car rear end collision is the party at fault.
I agree with Robert it's not just the car directly in back it is the one who sets the whole thing in motion.
Robert and Melvin are right on!
